My story
I’m Brady — a ginger artist, host, and former freelance makeup artist with a lifelong love of colour, beauty, and creating characters.
My art is inspired by the things I’m naturally drawn to: retro imagery, bold colour, nudity, makeup, queer culture, and a healthy dose of smoke and seduction. My background in makeup and colour theory has had a huge influence on the way I create, and I’m always fascinated by how colour can completely transform a character and the feeling of a piece.
Over the years, orange has become a particular obsession of mine. I’ve also developed a habit of drawing ginger characters almost exclusively — partly because I love the look, and partly because, as a ginger myself, I feel like I have to represent my people.
What really keeps me excited about art, though, is the transformation. I love starting with a completely blank page and slowly watching a figure appear — adding colour, personality, and little details until they feel like they have their own presence.
For me, art is about that feeling: taking something simple and turning it into something colourful, playful, personal, and alive.
